Location: Alvarado, TX Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 14:23:58 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Project Management, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma About the job Experience: •At least 10 years of experience in maintenance management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or director role, preferably within the steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing industry. •Extensive experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques, machinery repair, and facilities management. •Proven experience in developing and implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs. •Proven experience managing maintenance budgets, projects, and cross-functional teams. •Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees. Required Skills: •Lead and manage the maintenance departments, including team members at all levels (managers, supervisors, technicians). •Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures that align with company goals and regulatory requirements. •Create and manage a high-performance team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations. •Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and safety teams to ensure optimal equipment reliability and plant uptime. •Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and longevity. •Oversee the preparation and execution of long-term maintenance strategies for capital assets, machinery, and facility systems. •Conduct regular audits of equipment and facility conditions to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. •Establish and maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials to ensure immediate availability for repairs and routine maintenance tasks. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications (e.g., TPM, Six Sigma, PMP, or maintenance management certifications) area plus. •Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend or after-hours work required for plant maintenance or urgent repairs. •Demonstrated capacity to be on-call for emergency repairs and to travel between plant locations if needed.
