Required Skills: •This position will require extensive travel weekly for the first year. It will subside as the incumbent installs new procedures and hires underneath them. •Internal Audit Leadership •Develop and lead the organization's internal audit vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap. •Establish audit standards, policies, methodologies, and procedures aligned with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) best practices. •Design and execute a risk-based annual audit plan focused on key operational, financial, compliance, and technology risks. •Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing internal audit team and culture. •Enterprise Risk Management •Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify and evaluate emerging and existing risks. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. •Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or equivalent. •Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, risk management practices, and corporate governance. •Demonstrated experience leading complex audits within large, multi-site organizations. •Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. •Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication abilities. •Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline. •Healthcare industry experience, including provider, payer, managed care, or healthcare services environments. •Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CMS regulations, and related compliance frameworks. •Healthcare compliance certification such as CHC.
