Required Skills: •Department: Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) •Reports To: Deputy Director, Multifamily Housing and Homeownership Programs •Oversee funding procurements in alignment with the City’s available resources, funding goals and underwriting guidelines. Issue NOFAs, RFQs and RFP, administer competitive vetting process, make funding awards. •Update and maintain funding guidelines and policies for the department •Developer Fee Policy Qualifications: •A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in affordable housing development and real estate finance, preferably in San Francisco. •A minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible experience effectively leading related work. •Possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to real estate development, planning, business, public policy, or finance. •Direct experience in the development and financing of affordable housing assets including new construction and acquisition/rehabilitation. •Direct experience with Federal, State and local governmental programs such as LIHTC, tax-exempt bonds, recycled bonds, taxable bonds, FHA Risk Sharing, HUD Section 8 Project-based and tenant-based vouchers, CDBG, HOME, CalHFA and HCD programs, and MOHCD programs, etc. •Excellent collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to successfully communicate, mentor, encourage, and inspire staff. •Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
