Required Skills: •Develops and manages the budget for the department. •Oversees the hiring, training, performance management and corrective action processes for the Gaming Operations Department. •Reviews and manages the department’s financial results. •Ensures the safety and security of team members and guests. Manages processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time injuries. •Reviews staffing levels to maintain an appropriate level of employment. •Delegates duties and assigns responsibilities. •Develops team members, interviews, hires, coaches, and evaluates. •Directs and manages gaming equipment conversions, placement, and repair. Qualifications: •Maintains the highest standards of leadership, training and overall management while overseeing all aspects of the Gaming Operations and Gaming Performance departments. •Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel. •Excellent oral and written communication skills. •Leads by example relative to exemplary customer service both internal and external. •4-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a valid KY Racing License.
