Hiring: Director of FP&A (IT/Tech Optimization & Biz Partner) Company: Kforce Inc Location: Boston, MA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 12:09:24 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : AWS, Financial Planning, Microsoft Excel, Python, SQL About the job Experience: •15+ years of FP&A/finance experience (level flexible) Required Skills: •Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning, including scenario modeling •Partner with CFO and Technology leadership on financial strategy and investment decisions •Manage and forecast IT spend •Analyze usage trends and identify opportunities to reduce and better predict spend •Support vendor negotiations, including savings plans and reserved capacity strategies •Deliver budget vs. forecast reporting with clear insights and actionable recommendations •Build ROI models for technology and strategic initiatives •Develop dashboards and visualizations to improve cost transparency Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field •5-15+ years of FP&A/finance experience (level flexible) •Understanding of managing cloud financial spend (utilizing tools such as AWS Cost Explorer or related) •Hands-on with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and cloud cost platforms •Proven ability to influence stakeholders and operate in a fast-paced setting •Exposure to ERP/FP&A systems (e.g., Anaplan, Coupa, Business Central) •SQL or Python for data analysis •Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
