Hiring: Director of Field Services Company: BrainWorks Location: Texas, United States Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 21:10:59 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •10+ years of progressive experience in technical field operations. •5+ years directly leading a customer-facing, in-home field organization within a residential ISP environment Required Skills: •Lead and develop approximately eight regional field supervisors and their crews across a multi-state footprint. •Set and enforce standards for installation quality, safety, productivity, and customer experience across employee and contractor teams. •Lead residential field operations supporting fixed wireless and fiber installations, service, and in-home troubleshooting. •Establish, negotiate, and manage third-party installation contractors, including SLAs, quality audits, performance expectations, invoice reconciliation, and chargeback enforcement. •Own dispatch, scheduling, workforce management tooling, and technician mobile workflows. •Define, monitor, and report field KPIs, including first-visit resolution, repeat dispatch rate, installation cancellation rate, technician utilization, contractor cost per job, and safety incidents. •Identify opportunities to improve field productivity, service quality, customer experience, and operating cost. •Manage vehicle fleet operations, including telematics, driver safety, maintenance, and vehicle refresh planning. Qualifications: •In-depth knowledge of residential broadband installation and service operations. •Proven experience establishing, negotiating, and managing third-party installation contractors at scale. •Solid functional working knowledge of OSHA and telecom field safety standards associated with ladder, roof, and aerial work. •Strong financial acumen with experience building, managing, or defending a field operating budget. •Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. •Must be based in Texas or willing to relocate to Texas.
