Facilitates discussion between field operations and underwriting education on needs and expectations. Takes an active role in identifying skill gaps and certain training functions. •Strategic Underwriting team; manages the referral process for field underwriting. •Working in close collaboration with the line of business directors, is responsible for underwriting guidelines across all commercial lines along with maintenance of the underwriting manual •Helps manage Enterprise Underwriting expenses by monitoring usage with outside vendors, as well as internal process improvements. •Takes a leadership role in current and future underwriting projects. Serves as underwriting SME in projects for other functional areas. •Work directly with other areas of Enterprise Underwriting to support the needs of segments with new product/forms/book rolls, or other opportunities as they arise.
