Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Director of Employee Relations •. The right candidate will direct employee relations strategy, policy governance, and case management. This role ensures consistent, fair, and legally compliant handling of employee relations matters, while partnering closely with HR, Legal, and business leadership to mitigate risk, promote positive employee engagement, and uphold company values. •Oversee the company’s employee relations strategy, policies, and practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives •Direct the intake, investigation, and resolution of complex and high-risk employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace conduct, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations •Serve as a strategic advisor to HR leadership and senior business leaders on employee relations risks, trends, and recommended actions •Partner closely with Legal to manage matters with litigation exposure, agency charges, subpoenas, and outside counsel coordination •Implement investigation protocols, documentation standards, and escalation frameworks to ensure defensible and timely outcomes •Oversee employee relations metrics, trend analysis, and reporting to identify systemic issues and recommend corrective actions.
