Works in collaboration with Assistant Vice President, Senior Executive Director, campus partners and other stakeholders to advance prospect strategies and deepen pipeline of major and principal gift donors. •Manages a portfolio of high-net worth donors and prospects consisting of 40+ individuals or families in Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea, with a focus on those who can make gifts of $1M or more. Constructs and implements effective individualized prospect cultivation and solicitation plans. •Collaborates closely with school and program colleagues and the Northwestern Alumni Association to develop cohesive and coordinated international regional plans to ensure alignment between engagement and fundraising strategies in key markets in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. •Acts as University liaison to help support Chapel & York Hong Kong Foundation, and identities opportunities to promote giving vehicles with donors and prospects. •Oversees high-level volunteer fundraising campaign committee to engage select top international donors to support the identification and engagement of prospective seven-figure donors to advance the University’s strategic objectives in key global markets. •Manages Senior Program Coordinator, International Development, who provides project management and administrative support to the team. Qualifications: •Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience. •High comfort level with frequent travel abroad. Preference with international travel experience and support to academic leadership on develop related visits, events and other engagement and cultivation activities. •Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable. •Demonstrated success in cultivating and closing six- and seven-figure gifts, with experience in international fundraising and a strong understanding of the complexities of cross-border giving is strongly preferred. •Strong organizational and analytical skills and demonstrated track record in strategic planning and management.
