Hiring: Director of Advisor Development Company: Jambalaya Group Location: Louisville, KY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-11 15:05:14 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Credentialing, Financial Planning, Wealth Management About the job Required Skills: •Provide overall leadership for advisor development and drive progress against strategic measures related to comprehensive advice, financial-plan conversion, net flows, and brand standards •Conduct weekly or biweekly one-on-one coaching sessions with advisors and facilitate group coaching or mentor sessions when appropriate •Build and deliver a dedicated educational curriculum for newly appointed Associate Financial Advisors, including structured onboarding, skill development, and readiness milestones •Lead and participate in regular structured accountability sessions that translate priorities into measurable execution •Use SMART goals, performance data, and direct observation to identify execution gaps and help advisors create practical action plans that produce consistent results •Develop, implement, and continuously improve a comprehensive advisor development and training program, drawing on proven internal and industry resources •Integrate advisor training with the practice's Financial Planning Analyst development program to create a coordinated career-development pathway •Coach advisors on client conversations, discovery, comprehensive planning, insurance and protection strategies, advice implementation, prospect communication, and relationship management Qualifications: •Seven or more years of progressive financial-services experience, including advisor, sales, practicemanagement, field-leadership, training, or development responsibilities •A minimum of five years of demonstrated people leadership, coaching, or advisor-development experience •Meaningful insurance experience and the ability to coach advisors on the role of protection strategies within a financial plan •Track record of developing early-career professionals and creating accountability without sacrificing trust or engagement •Strong facilitation, feedback, communication, and performance-management skills •Solid functional working knowledge of advisor licensing, credentialing, and financial-services regulatory expectations •Relevant securities and insurance licenses are valuable; leadership capability and development expertise are more important than holding every technical credential at the time of hire •Demonstrated results influencing advisors and cross-functional teams, leading complex development programs across locations, and using data to evaluate and improve outcomes •Ability and willingness to travel as business needs require Compensation: •$120,000 - $150,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
