Required Skills: •Strategy & Growth: Design and execute global product line strategies, growth roadmaps, and pricing models for military aerospace OEM lines. •Supplier Management: Lead contract negotiations, quarterly business reviews, and strategic alignment with global OEM manufacturing partners. •Portfolio Lifecycle: Oversee new product introductions, inventory optimization, catalog expansion, and phase-out processes for legacy and advanced military parts. •Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with global sales, supply chain, quality assurance, and technical support teams to meet defense contract requirements. •Compliance & Quality: Ensure all OEM parts distributed meet strict military specifications, ITAR regulations, and aerospace quality standards which may require OEM feedback to support other departmental functions like Export Compliance in categorizing products with appropriate ECCNs or USML codes, HTS codes and Schedule B codes. •Strong financial acumen, contract negotiation skills, data-driven portfolio analysis, and executive-level communication skills. •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of parts and pricing data, including creating pivot tables, applying conditional formatting, and using VLOOKUP or similar lookup functions. •Proficiency in the Company’s ERP system to effectively manage and maintain data. Qualifications: •Must be able and willing to travel to OEM facilities and participate in OEM meetings and discussions. Travel of up to 40% may be required at certain times of the year, although the frequency will vary. Attendance at trade shows to host and support OEM meetings and business reviews is also required. •Extensive knowledge of military OEM manufacturers and their product lines as well as relationships with key OEM manufacturers is key. •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). •Deep expertise in military aircraft platforms, federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS), and ITAR compliance.
