We believe these capabilities are inherently interconnected and that integrating them provides a more complete and informed view of trading exposures, valuation risk, and overall portfolio risk. •This role reports to the Executive Director, Head of Market Risk and Analytics and is based at NextEra Energy’s headquarters in Juno Beach, Florida •We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on market risk and product control professional with proven experience supporting a trading floor environment. The successful candidate will combine strong technical capabilities with sound commercial judgment and a deep understanding of traded markets, particularly power and other energy commodities. •The position will lead a team with responsibilities of developing team capabilities, strengthening risk management processes and controls, and driving continued improvement and automation across the function. •Partner closely with traders, originators, and other business teams to develop a deep understanding of trading strategies, positions, and associated risks, and translate that understanding into effective risk management and control processes. •Develop, enhance, and implement market risk methodologies and analytics, including Value at Risk (VaR), stress testing, scenario analysis, and other portfolio risk measures.
