Required Skills: •Key policy areas include trade and tariffs, manufacturing competitiveness, aerospace and defense, energy, infrastructure, supply chain resilience, and sustainability-related legislation and regulation. •Monitor, analyze, and report on legislative, regulatory, and budget developments impacting the enterprise. •Represent the company in industry coalitions, trade associations, and advocacy forums to build the company’s visibility and influence. •Engage with government officials, trade associations, and community stakeholders to support the company’s global footprint and policy priorities. •Build and maintain strong bipartisan relationships with key congressional offices, especially those representing the company’s domestic facilities and members of Armed Services, Appropriations, Energy & Commerce, Foreign Relations, Finance, and Ways & Means Committees. •Partner with internal functions (Sourcing, Trade Compliance, EHS, Operations, Corporate Tax, Engineering) to identify emerging issues, risks, and opportunities, ensuring policy alignment with business strategy. •Coordinate the work of external lobbyists, consultants, and trade associations to ensure aligned messaging and execution. •Prepare executive updates and talking points for various internal working groups and meetings on legislative and regulatory topics.
