The role serves as a key partner to Pacific Life Investments, Financial Reporting, and Division Finance teams. •This role offers the opportunity to influence critical business decisions, drive process improvements, and lead initiatives to enhance reporting quality, efficiency, and scalability. •How You'll Help Us Move Forward •Lead and develop a team of 2-3 professionals responsible for investment and financial reporting activities •Oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of quarterly divisional investment results packages, including analysis of key drivers and quarter-over-quarter trends for Corporate and Reinsurance divisions •Direct the preparation and review of investment-related GAAP financial statement disclosures and cash flow reporting to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with reporting requirements Qualifications: •Prior leadership experience in an accounting/reporting role a plus •Proven organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines •Demonstrated capacity to coordinate complex deliverables across multiple systems with minimal direction •Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication (written and verbal) skills and the ability to collaborate with others to effectively problem solve •What Makes You Stand Out •Familiarity or working knowledge of a broad spectrum of investment types including fixed income, mortgage loans, private equity and derivatives •EPM experience – Essbase, Smartview, OBIEE •Advanced computer skills and strong command of Excel and Power Point •Demonstrated capacity to innovate and leverage technology for efficiencies and enhanced analytics •You Can Be Who You Are.
