Required Skills: •We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. •This position is based in San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. •Develops finance team strategy to achieve business goals and objectives. •Promotes the development of effective team relationships and functions in various capacities as required to ensure the success of team efforts. •Frequently interacts with senior management and peers on finance and accounting matters requiring internal or cross-company coordination. •Serves as a consultant to senior leadership in long-range planning and influences business decision making. •Consistently interacts with senior leadership as a trusted advisor on financial issues. •Makes recommendations to solve short-term decisions, as well as strategic financial business problems. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field is required; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree. •OR advanced degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics and 6 years of treasury and/or finance operations experience in the financial services industry. •Subject matter expert on the principles and theories of treasury or finance operations, finance, accounting and/or other related financial business fields and disciplines. •Knowledge and experience with functionalities of corporate financial or tax systems. •Demonstrated capacity to effectively work with internal and external partners. •US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner. •Strategic Financial Reporting: Proven experience in developing financial reports for management and Board-level audiences, translating complex data into clear, concise insights. •Cross-Functional Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate financial processes and deliverables across multiple stakeholders and business units, fostering effective collaboration. •Data Visualization & Storytelling: Ability to create compelling data visualizations and translate financial results into meaningful narratives that drive strategic decision-making. •Process Automation & System Modernization: Experience with implementing reporting and process automation solutions, and a strong understanding of application and system modernization strategies within finance.
