Hiring: Director, Evolving Trade & Specialty Channels Company: Boehringer Ingelheim Location: Ridgefield, CT Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:03:53 Employment Type: Contract / Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Accessibility, Project Management About the job Experience: •18 years of age or older Required Skills: •This role is based on-site at our Ridgefield, CT location with hybrid flexibility of 2-3 days per week on-site •Working cross-functionally with US Healthcare Affairs (HCA), provides SME insights on the Trade Channel that could impact the overall Enterprise •Deciphers the MegaTrends that matter and integrate them into the Trade Channel Strategy to ensure the evolving healthcare landscape changes are not only identified, but a key consideration in how we plan our future strategies •Advises the cross-functional Value & Access teams in emerging trends and disruptive events for product distribution, dispense and customer product value needs •Provides strategic support for business case development, evaluation, and implementation •Develops and maintains cross-functional synergies within Value & Access and other commercial functions such as Finance, Legal, Quality, Marketing, and Sales to maximize product success, compliance, and profitability •Continuously stays abreast of brand strategies and provides solutions to optimize access, reimbursement, and distribution that can be leveraged across the portfolio •Works closely with the Director, Trade Contract Strategy to ensure that channel challenges and opportunities are addressed in the Trade channel strategies at the individual brand, therapeutic area, and portfolio levels Qualifications: •BA/BS degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred •Minimum of ten (10) years of pharmaceutical experience with at least five (5) years in Trade, Specialty, or Managed Markets with account management experience •Detailed understanding of wholesalers, chain drugstores, specialty pharmacy and the pharmaceutical supply chain Compensation: •$222,000 - $350,000 / year •Flexible work environment (work from home / hybrid options) •The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
