For candidates local to our Boston, MA and Hingham MA offices. •Develop, communicate, and govern the enterprise architecture strategy, vision, and roadmap, ensuring its alignment with business goals and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA). •Lead and manage a team of architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. •Lead the development and maintenance of the target state architecture for the organization, creating a clear roadmap to transition from the current state to the future state. •Define and enforce standards for all architecture artifacts, including models, diagrams, and documentation, to ensure consistency and clarity across the enterprise. •Establish and oversee the Architecture Review Board and other governance processes to ensure all projects comply with architecture standards, policies, and procedures. •Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in healthcare, including Generative AI, Interoperability, and personalized experience, and develop strategies for their adoption. •Partner with senior leaders to understand strategic drivers and translate them into actionable architectural designs and technology solutions. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration is preferred. •In-depth knowledge of healthcare-specific systems and data, including EHRs, claims processing systems, and member engagement platforms. •Deep familiarity with healthcare regulations & mandates, including HIPAA, HITECH, CMS Interoperability. •Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) are strongly preferred; healthcare-specific certifications (e.g., CPHIMS) are a plus. •Exceptional executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills. •High school degree or equivalent required unless otherwise noted above •This job is also eligible for variable pay. •We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and a suite of well-being benefits to eligible employees. •WHY Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA?
