Hiring: Director, Diagnostic Services (Director, Procurement Systems and Operations) Company: NYC Health + Hospitals Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-13 15:12:08 Employment Type: Full-time Target Skills & Keywords : Program Management, Quality Assurance, Vendor Management About the job Experience: •7 - 10 years of relevant experience with progressive leadership responsibility, specifically in diagnostic services management •10 years of relevant experience with progressive leadership responsibility, specifically in diagnostic services management Required Skills: •Directs and coordinates the development of policies, programs and operating procedures to facilitate the Division of Procurement in providing staff services, consultation and coordination on all aspects of product value analysis, specifications, vendor selection, quality assurance testing, product development, evaluation and selection. •Directs and coordinates the development of policies, programs and operating procedures that will standardize and facilitate health care setting procurement practices. •Analyzes operational activities, synthesizes operational imbalances and makes recommendations to improve effectiveness of cost of departmental activities in order to obtain objectives of programs. •Recommending, planning and programming based on short-range and long-range goals. •Reviewing present systems, policies and procedures to determine accuracy, adequacy and relevancy. •Reviewing present systems to determine automation potential. •Developing new programs to keep pace with Procurement’s continuing growth and increasing responsibilities. •Preparing proposals for change in any of the systems, policies or procedures. Qualifications: •Expertise in healthcare supply chain and operational management specific to diagnostic services •Procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation experience within laboratory, imaging, or diagnostic service lines •Proficiency in cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, including supplier performance evaluation and operational metrics •Advanced degree or clinical background in diagnostic services preferred •Minimum of 7 - 10 years of relevant experience with progressive leadership responsibility, specifically in diagnostic services management •If you wish to apply for this position, please apply online by clicking the "Apply for Job" button.
