Hiring: Director, Compensation, North America Company: Amcor Location: Greater Chicago Area Job Posted Time: 2026-09-14 11:24:14 Target Skills & Keywords : Change Management, Microsoft Excel About the job Experience: •12-15+ years of progressive TR/compensation experience in complex matrix organizations, including exposure to grading, data benchmarking, process design and management and program deployment on regional or global level. Managerial experience, with strong experience in building, leading and managing a team. •Advanced analytical capabilities and Excel modeling proficiency; experienced in implementing/ using/ designing HRIS systems for compensation modules •Strong organizational, project/change management, and stakeholder engagement skills •Demonstrated capacity to operate independently. We Are Winning When Required Skills: •Design and deploy Total Rewards strategy, goals and priorities for the assigned Business Group(s) •Ensure global TR programs and processes are consistently implemented and not deviating from global direction and standard; guide own/local HR teams in process planning and implementation, including merit salary increases, management incentive plan, sales incentive plan, equity management incentive plan and long term incentive plan. •Provides expertise on TR programs to wide range of internal stakeholders; including BG/HR LTs •Lead change management and program alignment / harmonization (where necessary) •Ensure accurate benchmark; provide input and recommendations to global TR for program improvements •Ensure that local TR programs are responding to business needs; ensure execution •Monitor trends, including anything driven by local labor relations aspects with potential impact on TR agenda (i.e., transparency, local pay legislations etc.) •Manage complexity; navigate through org complexity and conflicting priorities Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Business, or related field (master’s degree or relevant certification a plus).
