Hiring: Direct Support Professional (DSP) - IDD Community Home Services Company: Community Services Group - CSG Location: Lancaster, PA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-17 12:44:15 Employment Type: Full-time / On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Electronic Health Records About the job Required Skills: •Develop relationships where those we support live, work, or in a community setting, in order to promote and ensure their emotional, physical and personal well-being. •Assist adults in the development of appropriate life skills necessary to reach their highest level of potential including interaction with others, cooking, housekeeping, money management, personal hygiene, and other skills in appropriate settings. •Actively facilitate and support individuals' preferences and ensure their interests are honored. •Actively search for opportunities for those you serve to experience life in their homes and communities based on their hobbies and interests utilizing community resources to promote community integration, independence, and Interdependence. •Help individuals reach their goals to be more independent by offering guidance, instruction, and role modeling. •Completes all required documentation including electronic health record in an accurate, timely, and professional manner. •Collaborates and cooperates with involved agencies, family members, and other service providers; participates in meetings and provides relevant information. •Provides support and assistance to individuals in arranging for medical care when responsible to do so and follow health care recommendations including individuals to follow all dietary guidelines as recommended. Qualifications: •Willing to assist and support individuals in the community while respecting their dignity and rights. •Valid driver's license and willingness to transport individuals in personal or CSG vehicles. •Willing and able to travel to and work in assigned community homes. •Demonstrated capacity to work flexible hours.
