Required Skills: •Lead all aspects of complex project development and portfolio and or sub market management. •Ownership of project development schedules and budgets. •Evaluate and manage risk across timelines, permitting, policy, and technical constraints. •Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. •Show the leadership needed to communicate and influence employees at all levels regarding project risks, opportunities, and recommended action. •Effectively communicate and lead presentations clearly and with confidence to SLT+1. •Manage contract obligations in key project documents. •Lead Project Discretionary Permitting including permit strategy, tracking permit efforts, working with local AHJs, presenting at permit hearings. Qualifications: •Tipically 7-10 years of project development experience in renewable energy development. •Undergraduate degree, preferably in renewable energy, urban planning, logistics, finance, business, engineering, project/construction management or equivalent. •Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. •Knowledge of renewable energy project development, utilities, interconnection, permitting, contracting. •Knowledge of renewable energy and energy storage technologies. •Excellent oral and written communication skills are required including public speaking, conflict resolution, and/or platform skills for executive management presentations. •Self-starter, very self-reliant and capable of operating with minimum supervision. •Willingness and ability to travel 30% on average but more as required by projects. •Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
