Required Skills: •Actively facilitate and support design, development, and release of BIW underbody stampings and assemblies. •Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure design, performance, quality, and manufacturing requirements are met. •Review engineering designs and communicate technical concerns clearly to designers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders. •Review and interpret sheet metal forming simulation reports to assess manufacturability and support design decisions. •Use basic NX CAD knowledge to review designs, understand engineering solutions, and facilitate technical discussions. •Participate in design reviews, engineering change activities, and product development milestones. •Actively facilitate and support identification and resolution of issues related to BIW underbody design, forming, assembly, and dimensional variation. •Partner cross-functionally with suppliers and manufacturing teams to address technical concerns and support design improvements. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. •Understanding of sheet metal forming and forming simulation reports. •Basic proficiency in Siemens NX CAD. •Strong knowledge of GD&T and its application to automotive components. •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills. •Demonstrated capacity to understand technical issues, listen to stakeholder concerns, and drive effective resolution. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive engineering environment. •Exposure to BIW underbody design release, stamping, assembly, or manufacturing engineering. •Operational familiarity with forming simulation, dimensional variation, and tolerance analysis.
