Required Skills: •This position is a full-time position at the Irvine site of DZYNE Technologies LLC. The primary goal of this role is to ensure technical drawing compliance by performing rigorous quality reviews of mechanical and electrical drawings, and systematic process optimization. •Enforce Drafting Standards: Critically review mechanical blueprints for adherence to ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) and electrical schematics for compliance with IPC-A-610/WHMA-A-620 standards. •Verify Electrical Layouts: Inspect multi-layer PCBs, wiring harnesses, and avionics layouts for correct creepage, clearance, thermal relief, and wire gauge sizing •Engineering Change Control: Act as the final quality gate for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), reviewing modified drawings for secondary risks •Eliminate Process Bottlenecks: Analyze the handoff between design engineering and the manufacturing floor to streamline and accelerate the drawing release workflow. •Solve Systemic Issues: Lead Root Cause Analysis when recurring drawing errors or manufacturing defects escape to the production line. •Standardize Quality Checklists: Create and maintain robust drawing review checklists and Standard Operating Procedures to institutionalize tribal knowledge and prevent "repeat offender" mistakes •Maintain Aerospace Standards: Ensure all design control and manufacturing processes comply with AS9100 Quality Management Systems Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field. •Export Control / ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
