FTT will require proof of status prior to employment. •The design drafter/modeler shall have an expert knowledge of drafting methods, procedures, and techniques. Creates and modifies detailed drawings using CAD hardware and software from sketches, layouts, or notes provided by engineering. •Duties are performed under minimal supervision. •Contributes design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or quality of product. •Checks drawing plots versus the project input for correctness and conformance to standards. •Works with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, drafting standards, and ECN/ECR documentation. Qualifications: •Demonstrated capacity to sit for long periods of time. •Demonstrated capacity to perform repetitive motion with wrists/hands (keyboarding, mouse, phones). •Demonstrated capacity to view and see drawings. •A.S. degree in Drafting and Design Technology or equivalent is required.
