Hiring: Deputy Operations Manager (Cleared) Company: Chugach Government Solutions, LLC Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 10:36:41 Employment Type: Contract About the job Required Skills: •Assists the Operations Manager in the management of all facilities maintenance and repair programs. •Oversees and provides direct supervision of lower tier sub-departments and their functions as assigned by the Operations Manager. •Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work plan for assigned staff; assigns work activities, projects, and programs; reviews and evaluates work products, methods, and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems. •Routine, urgent and emergency work orders •Scheduled equipment preventive maintenance activities •Scheduled equipment predictive maintenance activities •Unscheduled outage support and restoration •Outside specialty vendor and subcontracted activities Qualifications: •Ten (10) years of experience in facilities operations and maintenance type work. •Four (4) years in a management role overseeing the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and personnel. Management role inclusive of at least 50 personne/contractors. •Must possess a current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. •Business/Management/Engineering Bachelor’s degree or trade license in a professional trade. •High School Graduate or equivalent GED. •Demonstrated ability and experience to manage a large facilities management contract with similar scope of work and duties. •Demonstrated ability and experience to manage subcontractors and task order jobs in large volumes. •Understanding of Government contracts, correspondence, reports and records including delivery order work. •Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate direct reports. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
