Qualifications: •You are a professional with at least five years of project management experience including environmental impact assessment, leading a team. •You understand environmental impact assessment broadly and at a detailed level, including the Federal and State/local frameworks (NEPA and SEQRA/CEQR or other, respectively) and their connection to and importance for capital project delivery. •Under supervision of the Deputy Executive Director, with wide latitude for independent action and the exercise of independent initiative and judgment, you will lead a team of Senior CEQR Project Managers and oversee and manage a portion of the CEQR portfolio. •Train and support team members as needed and provide procedural, methodological, and project-specific guidance to the team. You will also manage CEQR projects and develop project analysis frameworks, schedules, track progress, and deliverables. •Collaborate with a multitude of City agencies to provide environmental review process support, and communicate efficiently with City agency partners, the Law Department, external consultants and attorneys. •As a team leader, you will conduct staff performance evaluations and support continuing staff education. •Also support the Deputy Executive Director and the Director with office administration and representation, and track office workflow and staff assignments to support program development, decision-making, and implementation. •Also represent MOEC at internal and public meetings, and other events, develop communication materials to explain MOEC’s work to diverse audiences, and assist with special projects as needed and perform other duties as necessary. •The City of New York is an inclusive Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
