Required Skills: •As a Dental Instrument Finishe r, you will play an important role in the final manufacturing process of precision dental instruments. You will perform finishing operations—including buffing, grinding, shaping, and polishing—on the working ends of instruments after they have been heat-treated and hardened. •This is highly skilled, hands-on work where precision matters •. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship directly contribute to the quality, functionality, and reliability of instruments that dental professionals depend on. •The instruments you help finish may be used by dentists, hygienists, and dental specialists in procedures performed every day. •Your craftsmanship can make a difference in the dental field. •By ensuring each instrument meets exact specifications for quality, dimensions, and performance, you help provide dental professionals with the tools they need to deliver safe, precise, and effective patient care. •Utilize abrasive belts, wheels, and other tools to finish hardened dental instruments. •Perform highly precise finishing work on instruments with varying levels of technical complexity. Qualifications: •0–1 year of experience working with machines, tools, equipment, grinding machines, or small tools used for setup and finishing preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. •Basic English reading and writing skills and basic math ability. •Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform routine and repetitive operations while maintaining consistent quality. •Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with general supervision and make independent decisions regarding product quality when needed. •Demonstrated capacity to learn and accurately use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors. •Basic blueprint or technical drawing reading ability, or the ability to learn. •Prior experience requiring strong manual dexterity and precision is helpful. •Demonstrated capacity to learn new instruments and processes using written specifications, work instructions, or approved samples. •Demonstrated capacity to learn and eventually train others on established work instructions and assignments. •Basic computer skills are helpful but not required.
