Hiring: DC Operations Manager Company: ORBIS Corporation Location: Urbana, OH Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 11:02:55 Employment Type: On-site Target Skills & Keywords : Workday About the job Experience: •5-10 years of relevant work experience •3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or logistics •2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment Required Skills: •The DC Operations Manager will manage all aspects of the distribution center functions (on-site and off-site) including day to day planning, organizing, and operations to ensure maximum material flow and WMS management efficiency. •Manage day-to-day operations of plant supply chain, including inventory control, shipping, and receiving, production scheduling and procurement. •Lead and oversee monitoring and evaluating the overall performance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS). •Execute and troubleshoot WMS related issues by identifying root cause of system failures impacting operations, including escalation to appropriate parties, and prioritizing outstanding issues. •Serves as a liaison between operations and Supply Chain Management. •Assists in process designs as they relate to WMS projects, testing and validation, and implementation benchmarks. •Directly oversee the inventory control, shipping, receiving, & warehouse activity for distribution center •Oversee the execution of procurement and scheduling to ensure service metrics and customer demands are met.
