Hiring: Database Migration Engineer Company: Yulista Holding LLC Location: Falls Church, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 17:10:47 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, Azure, Azure DevOps, Digital Transformation, ETL, SQL, SQL Server About the job Required Skills: •Analyze legacy data sources, structures, schemas, relationships, and dependencies to support migration planning and execution. •Develop and maintain data migration strategies, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, scripts, and procedures. •Extract, transform, and load data from legacy systems into modernized applications and supporting database environments. •Partner cross-functionally with Government stakeholders, business analysts, and Functional SMEs to define data mappings, business rules, validation criteria, and data quality requirements. •Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, duplicates, gaps, and migration risks. •Develop processes to cleanse, normalize, transform, and prepare legacy data for migration. •Design and execute repeatable migration processes to support development, testing, staging, and production environments. •Perform data validation and reconciliation to verify the completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity of migrated data.
