Hiring: Database Migration Engineer Company: Yulista Holding LLC Location: Falls Church, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 17:10:47 Employment Type: Contract Target Skills & Keywords : Agile, Azure, Azure DevOps, Digital Transformation, ETL, SQL, SQL Server About the job Required Skills: •Analyze legacy data sources, structures, schemas, relationships, and dependencies to support migration planning and execution. •Develop and maintain data migration strategies, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, scripts, and procedures. •Extract, transform, and load data from legacy systems into modernized applications and supporting database environments. •Partner cross-functionally with Government stakeholders, business analysts, and Functional SMEs to define data mappings, business rules, validation criteria, and data quality requirements. •Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, duplicates, gaps, and migration risks. •Develop processes to cleanse, normalize, transform, and prepare legacy data for migration. •Design and execute repeatable migration processes to support development, testing, staging, and production environments. •Perform data validation and reconciliation to verify the completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity of migrated data. Qualifications: •Must be a US Citizen. •Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain the appropriate Department of Justice (DOJ) Public Trust Investigation (PTI) as required for the position. •Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and relevant professional experience in database engineering, data migration, data management, software development, information technology, or a related discipline. •Demonstrated capacity to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. •The principal place of performance will be EOIR Headquarters located in Falls Church, VA. •Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g). •It is Calista and Subsidiaries' business philosophy and practice to provide reasonable accommodations, according to applicable state and federal laws, to all qualified individuals with physical or mental disabilities. •The statements contained in this job description are intended to describe the general content and requirements for performance of this job.
