Qualifications: •: Hybrid | Onsite 3 days a week in Arlington, VA •The Database Engineer will design, implement, and optimize PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server database systems that support enterprise-scale data environments, including cloud-hosted environments leveraging AWS technologies. •This position supports database administration, backup and recovery, high availability, automation, and capacity planning. The role also helps establish standards and documentation that strengthen resilience and operational readiness across the data environment. •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. •Demonstrated experience administering PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases, including database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and high availability. •Solid functional working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL technologies. •Certification such as Oracle DBA, Microsoft Azure Database, or AWS Database Specialty.
