Hiring: Database Engineer - Junior Level Company: Boeing Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 10:39:15 Employment Type: Contract / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : Systems Engineering About the job Experience: •Three (3) years experience as a database engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity Required Skills: •Contribute to cutting edge development programs and designing new solutions •Innovate RF signal processing applications •Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis •Develop relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software •Project long-range requirements for database administration and design •Be responsible for developing a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security and domain controls •Develop requirements from a project’s inception to its conclusion for a particular business and Information Technology (IT) subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems) •Assist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts Qualifications: •Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance •Telework/Remote work currently not authorized •Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required •Four (4) years of additional DBE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree Compensation: •$119,500 - $149,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
