Required Skills: •Own end-to-end delivery of Oracle-based data projects: define scope, build project plans, establish milestones, and manage the delivery schedule from kickoff through deployment and closeout to meet success criteria. •Partner cross-functionally with the Bas to translate business and data requirements into actionable technical workstreams in partnership with data architects, data modelers, DBAs, and business stakeholders. •Understand and track technical dependencies specific to schema/DDL changes, data model (Erwin) sign-off gates, environment refreshes, capacity/storage planning, and database change windows. •Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies particular with large-volume data migrations and schema changes e.g., extended load/validation windows, downtime/outage planning, and data quality/reconciliation risk thereby escalating proactively with clear options to ensure clear alignment. •Manage project budget and resourcing, including tracking burn against plan and forecasting resource needs (DBAs, data modelers, data engineers) across the project lifecycle. •Run project governance: status reporting, steering committee updates, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications tailored to technical and executive audiences. •Coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure aligned delivery across interdependent workstreams, including coordination of environment availability and change control. •Facilitate project planning sessions, agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, sprint retros) and stage-gate delivery, catering to organizational standards Qualifications: •5-8+ years of project management experience delivering technical/IT projects, with meaningful experience managing data platform, database, or data migration initiatives specifically. •Demonstrated technical fluency with Oracle on-premise database environments i.e., able to understand schema design, database change types, and performance/capacity considerations well enough to manage scope and risk credibly, without necessarily writing SQL/PL-SQL day-to-day. •Solid functional working knowledge of database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL) and database terminology (high availability, backup/recovery, migrations). •Working familiarity with data modeling concepts and Erwin (or equivalent) sufficient to understand model review/sign-off gates and their impact on project timelines. •Direct experience managing projects involving large data volumes (GB to multi-TB scale), including the planning implications for migration windows, validation, and risk. •Strong command of project management fundamentals: scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, risk/issue management, and status reporting. •Manage vendor/contractor coordination where third parties are part of delivery, including SOWs, deliverables tracking, and acceptance criteria. •Proficiency with project management tooling (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence) and reporting to executive stakeholders. •Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical detail (schema changes, migration risk, data quality issues) into business-relevant updates and vice versa. •Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities in dynamic, fast-paced settings Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
