Required Skills: •Create and maintain securities in the security master system, managing updates across the full lifecycle of each instrument — including bank loans, bonds, structured products, and private credit. •Monitor data completeness and consistency as new securities are onboarded or existing records are modified; execute routine checks including corporate actions, loan restructures, and P&I events. •Perform daily validation checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data sourced from multiple internal and external systems. •Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and exceptions; coordinate with vendors and counterparties on variances and escalate operational risk issues appropriately. •Cross-Functional Support •Resolve data breaks and respond to data inquiries from downstream teams including Trading, Accounting, Risk, Compliance, and Client Reporting. •Support specifications, testing, and enhancements to tools and applications used to maintain data integrity, in coordination with technology and operations teams. •Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives, including responsible use of AI tools to streamline operational processes and reduce manual workflows. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. •Solid functional working knowledge of financial markets and fixed income instruments, including high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and structured products. Exposure to private equity or alternative investments is a plus. •Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction, validation, and reporting. •Operational familiarity with data management concepts, databases, and data integrity principles. •Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python) or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. •Operational familiarity with investment management platforms and data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, Markit) is a plus. •Exceptional attention to detail — understands that data accuracy has direct downstream impact on investment decisions. •Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume operational environment. •Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across investment, technology, and operations teams. •Clear communicator — able to translate data issues for non-technical stakeholders with precision and clarity.
