This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents. Required Skills: •Utilize SIEM systems, network security tools, and log analysis tools to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats. •Leverage the Mitre ATT&CK framework and best practices in threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security incident response. •Solve complex problems with analytical and problem-solving skills, paying close attention to detail. •Communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: •Active TS/SCI with required polygraph •Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies. •Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies. •Knowledge of the Mitre ATT&CK framework. •Demonstrated capacity to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT-II certification within 6 months of starting position. •The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $120,000 - $179,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
