Hiring: Customs Analyst Company: Magna International Location: Spartanburg, SC Job Posted Time: 2026-09-13 13:01:30 Target Skills & Keywords : SAP About the job Experience: •3+ years of experience as a Customs Analyst or Entry Writer Required Skills: •Perform and maintain accurate HTS classification, valuation, and country-of-origin determinations. •Review and validate shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists, and transport documents. •Organize and manage efficient document filling process. •Partner cross-functionally with customs brokers to ensure declaration compliance on a daily basis. •Verify import and export declaration with provided instructions, origin certificates, USMCA certificates, … •Check Customs and Accounting traceability in SAP. •Prepare, file and track CAPE declarations in CBP's ACE Secure Data Portal. •Assure and monitor the use of import adjustment offset licenses (e.g. Section 232) provided by customers. Qualifications: •Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and ABI filing •Proven experience with HTS classification and import/export compliance •Operational familiarity with CBP's ACE Secure Data Portal •Customs Broker License (preferred but not required) •Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills •Good organization and decision-making skills, detail-oriented •Excellent written and oral communication skills •Demonstrated capacity to perform multiple tasks and cope with time deadlines •Good mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills •Perform tasks and responsibilities detailed in Magna’s IATF16949 policies, procedures, and work instructions.
