Required Skills: •Oversees integrity of product quality for assigned area through participation as integral part of manufacturing team. •Identify and interpret the customer’s quality requirements to assure compliance. •Drives and champions quality improvement efforts. •Provides expert analysis, guidance, and support to Production in Process Improvement activities, including effective use of Problem-Solving tools / techniques and statistical analysis. •Lead and oversee New Product Qualification, and verification of changes to current product. •Through the application of APQP, supports the external customers in New Product Introduction. Ensures that internal customer needs for Quality Systems are met in a timely and functional manner. •Results for this position will be measured by improvements to Customer Satisfaction Parts Per Million, Number of Incidences, Corrective Action Timing and Effectiveness, and Building Customer Relationships. Additional internal measurements include Scrap Rate, Audit Compliance, and Response Time to Manufacturing Issues. •Optimizes Process Capability on significant characteristics through effective application of statistical analysis techniques and training of manufacturing employees and technicians in Problem-Solving.
