Hiring: CT Technologist - Full Time/ Day - Outpatient/ Springside Company: ChristianaCare Location: Newark, DE Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 22:07:36 Employment Type: Full-time About the job Experience: •Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program). •Completion of ARRT registry in CT scan required (achieved within two years of hire). •State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required. •Completion of formal and/or on the job training on cross sectional anatomy. •Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment. Required Skills: •Demonstrates complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT Scanner Units, radiology supported computer systems and CD Burners. •Performs CT procedures and quality control as defined by department guidelines. •Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in ACR and state licenses. Complies with Joint Commission regulations. •Completes all technical assigned imaging and non-imaging procedures in the designated scheduled times. •Enters accurate patient study information into the clinical care systems. •Assist with the coordination of workflow and patient care activities. •Obtain clinical history regarding reason for examination and obtains appropriate consent. •Verifies insurance pre-authorization as defined by departmental protocols prior to scanning patient. Qualifications: •The successful completion of the CT Registry exam is a job requirement. A technologist, who is recruited and non-certified, will have a grace period of 2 years following hire to pass this exam. •This position pays between $38.13 and $52.43 based on experience. •This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. •An Associate’s degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education •Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.
