Hiring: Cross Functional Test Engineer Company: Maximus Location: McLean, VA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-13 13:37:39 Employment Type: Contract / Remote Target Skills & Keywords : AWS, Azure, CI/CD, Load Testing, Quality Assurance, SQL About the job Experience: •1+ years of experience in IT system testing or quality assurance within enterprise environments Required Skills: •Serve as an independent, second ‑ level validator for system changes. •Perform testing activities following system modifications, including patching, upgrades, reconfigurations, and configuration changes across enterprise environments. •Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results, providing timely reporting to support operational and release decisions. •Conduct installation, security, interoperability, failover/recovery, and load testing across development, integration, and production environments. •Support testing for cloud and on ‑ prem environments, including Azure, AWS, Windows and virtual machines, Oracle and SQL databases, network infrastructure, and security systems. •Implement and maintain automated test scripts to enable repeatable execution, improve efficiency, and reduce testing bottlenecks tied to release schedules. •Operate as an integrated testing partner across core services, aligning with development and operations teams to accelerate delivery while maintaining system stability.
