Hiring: Crewperson - 12030 Company: Spire Location: Birmingham, AL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 14:58:26 Employment Type: Contract About the job Required Skills: •Excavation of main or service pipe, trenches or ditches. •Operating air tools and light duty mechanical construction equipment. •Mixing and pouring concrete and broom finishing patches in street and making temporary repairs to pavement. •Performs maintenance work involved in pipe corrosion protection operations such as applying green line, fiberglass, mastic, etc. •Prepares piping for repair and joining. Performs tasks that require the use of respiratory protection equipment as encountered in live gas repairs. •Uses locate equipment to locate piping for internal purposes. •Demonstrated capacity to lead by example in support of the Company’s essential characteristics and values: strong ethics and integrity, dedication to a safe work environment, commitment to a diverse workforce that recognizes and respects every individual’s unique skills and perspectives. •All other duties as assigned.
