Hiring: Counsel Company: K2 Space Corporation Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 07:42:51 Employment Type: Contract About the job Experience: •3+ years of relevant experience at a corporate law firm and/or in-house legal team Required Skills: •Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including procurement/supply chain agreements, subcontracts, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, and purchase orders, with mentoring from the Legal team. •Work hand-in-hand with K2 Space’s Supply Chain team to refresh template documents, navigate supplier negotiations, and manage procurement/supply chain issues arising out of IP disputes, late delivery, failure to meet contractual specifications, and similar matters. •Actively facilitate and support corporate and finance teams, including on cap table management. •Streamline the NDA process, including refreshing templates, establishing escalation points, centralizing NDAs, and creating processes to speed up the NDA lifecycle. •Create document storage protocols and single sources of truth for contract documentation, NDAs, and other key documents. •In-house legal experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment •Knowledge of ITAR and EAR Qualifications: •J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school •Member of the California State Bar •Direct experience drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including some combination of procurement/supply chain agreements, subcontracts, vendor agreements, consulting agreements, and purchase orders •Operational familiarity with INCO terms, customs issues, import regulations, and other regulatory matters impacting procurement/supply chain •Direct experience drafting and negotiating NDAs — bonus if it’s been in the aerospace, engineering, or technology industries Compensation: •$170,000 - $230,000 / year •Competitive benefits and rewards package •Base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $230,000 + equity in the company Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
