Hiring: Counsel, Employment Law Company: Aon Location: Chicago, IL Job Posted Time: 2026-09-16 07:40:23 Employment Type: Full-time / Hybrid About the job Required Skills: •Routinely advise HR and business leaders on all aspects of the employee life cycle, including hiring, performance management, compensation, accommodations, leave, consequence management, terminations, pay equity, and restrictive covenants. •Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws including, but not limited to: FLSA, ADA/ADAAA, ADEA, Title VII, EPA, FMLA, OWBPA and state and local equivalents. •Assist with and manage outside counsel as it relates to employment litigation including: restrictive covenant and breach of contract claims, discrimination and retaliation claims, and wage and hour claims. •Advise on matters related to employment agreements and compliance with restrictive covenants. •Manage and respond to employment-related claims, demand letters, and administrative agency/EEOC charges. •Draft employment, separation, and compensation agreements and plans. •Support internal investigations. •Assist with reductions in force and compliance with OWBPA.
