Hiring: Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs Company: NBCUniversal Location: New York, NY Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:11:34 Employment Type: Contract / Hybrid Target Skills & Keywords : Epic Systems About the job Experience: •4+ years of experience at law firm or comparable in-house position Required Skills: •Provide legal support for a portfolio of agreements and internal stakeholders, primarily for NBCUniversal’s Sourcing and Operations & Technology groups •Draft, review, negotiate, and support a variety of corporate transaction agreements for NBCUniversal and its various business units •Advise clients regarding contractual rights and duties, matters of contract interpretation, and pre-litigation dispute resolution •Coordinate with Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance teams to ensure personal data and confidential information is collected, used, and secured in accordance with company requirements and evolving law Qualifications: •Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school •Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York •Prior experience regarding technology, data security, or intellectual property issues is a plus •Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills •Demonstrated capacity to juggle and prioritize a high volume of deals and deadlines •Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment, as a good-natured and enthusiastic team player •Eagerness and proven ability to adapt and develop new expertise as business needs and technologies evolve •Capable, comfortable with, and committed to providing timely and practical guidance to business team members at all levels •: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of four days per week.
