But our commitment goes beyond our clients as we continue to live the Withum Way, promoting personal and professional growth for all team members, clients, and surrounding communities. •How You'll Spend Your Time •Performing cost segregation studies for newly acquired, constructed, renovated, and existing real estate properties. •Reviewing construction cost documentation, depreciation schedules, appraisals, blueprints, engineering reports, and fixed asset records. •Conducting property site visits and documenting building systems and asset classifications. •Preparing detailed engineering-based cost segregation reports and supporting documentation designed to meet IRS guidelines and industry standards. •Researching and interpreting federal tax regulations related to depreciation, capitalization, bonus depreciation, and tangible property regulations.
