Join ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging solutions, where your expertise will directly impact plant performance and business results. •We are seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to lead the financial accounting and cost accounting activities supporting our Catoosa manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory valuation, product costing, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while leading a team of finance professionals. •The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing accounting background and experience partnering with operations leaders to improve inventory accuracy, cost visibility, and financial performance. •This position works closely with plant leadership, operations teams, financial business partners, and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance while driving process improvements across the facility. •Lead, coach, and develop the site's finance and accounting team. •Own product costing, inventory accounting, and inventory valuation processes. •Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory variances, labor efficiencies, and overhead absorption. •Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventories. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. •In-depth knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing accounting principles. •Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting. •Strong knowledge of month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. •Demonstrated capacity to translate financial information into actionable insights for operations leaders. •Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. •Strong communication and cross-functional partnership abilities. •Manufacturing, packaging, industrial, or process manufacturing experience. •CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
