Required Skills: •Hybrid, 4 days per week in Scottsdale, AZ •N/A Own month-end close for cost accounting •Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, reserves, reclassifications, and allocations across multiple business segments and legal entities. Support close activities spanning inventory reserves, PPV accruals and amortization, royalties, scrap reclassifications, and overhead and segment allocations. •Lead inventory reserve management •Review and maintain excess and obsolescence reserves, produce reserve summary reports, and support inventory reconciliation activities including segment, sub-assembly, and raw material to WIP movements. •Monitor and analyze purchase price, production, and quantity variances; identify root causes; and communicate findings clearly to business partners and leadership. •Support standard cost processes •Assist with standard cost uploads in the ERP system, including monthly bill-of-materials (BOM) reviews, new SKU setups, and ongoing variance monitoring. Qualifications: •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required •CPA or CMA in progress or completed is a plus. •Applied hands-on capability in inventory accounting, standard costing, variance analysis, and financial close processes; familiarity with SOX compliance and audit support. •Comfortable working with large datasets, building reconciliations, and communicating complex cost drivers to non-finance stakeholders with clarity.
