Hiring: Corrosion Control Specialist Company: Amentum Location: Anchorage, AK Job Posted Time: 2026-09-10 13:46:26 About the job Required Skills: •Removes or abrades existing paint finish by sandblasting, scraping, sanding or chemical paint removing methods. •Treats corrosion on ferrous and non-ferrous metals by grinding, wire brushing, or chemical acid treatment as is appropriate. •Applies metal conditioners and pretreatment washes. •Applies body filler to holed or depressed areas and to smooth these filled areas to compliment the surface contour. •Applies complete finishing schemes, as specified, using pneumatic or airless spraying equipment or by brush if appropriate. •Applies lettering and identifying insignia and performs maintenance and repair procedures to all equipment used during the performance of these duties. •Identifies correct thinners with paints for different applications. •Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: •Must possess a valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation driver’s license. •High School diploma or equivalent requirement.
