Qualifications: •Core Competencies, Skills and Experience Requirements •Ten (10+) or more years of professional experience, seven (7) or more years’ experience within the medical device, life sciences industry, or technology. •Prior work experience must be in finance, investing or other relevant discipline •Prior transactional experience including required. Prior experience in corporate business development is strongly preferred. •Demonstrated success in advancement within the medical device, life sciences or investing industry. •Keen business intuition, results orientation, negotiation skills and demonstrated interest in advancing a business’ strategic position through business development activities. •Strong detail-orientation, as well as the ability to interact with several internal functions and build a consensus from a varied group of departments and individuals. •Demonstrated capacity to achieve significant objectives and drive major projects, with limited authority. Outstanding teamwork and influence-management skills with the ability to successfully work with others at all levels •Strong leadership skills, and the business maturity, intellect and integrity required to establish immediate credibility with external constituencies. •Analytic thinker who approaches problems logically without getting lost in the detail or suffering from “analysis/paralysis”.
