Hiring: Corporate Accountant Company: The Pokémon Company International Location: Bellevue, WA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-12 14:46:27 Employment Type: Hybrid About the job Required Skills: •FLSA Classification (US Only): Exempt •People Manager: No •Coordinate and help drive the month-end close process across Accounting and Finance to support a sustainable five-day close, including facilitating close activities, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. •Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses to ensure accurate, complete, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. •Partner with Accounting, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to improve processes that impact the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of the financial close. •Lead process improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual effort, increasing scalability, enhancing reporting, and strengthening accounting operations. •Actively facilitate and support administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of accounting systems, close management tools, and reconciliation applications. •Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, process documentation, and reconciliation methodologies to support strong controls and operational excellence. Qualifications: •Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and/or public accounting experience. •Accounting systems experience in Oracle Fusion, ARCS, EPM, FCCS, and Crunchafi.
