Coordinate the work efforts of employees to ensure that outgoing semi-trailers or trucks are loaded accurately and on time to meet customer order requirements •Determine needed quantities of finished product and communicate those needs to the production area. Anticipate current and future production needs through close communication with sales and production •Monitor incoming loads and invoices to identify damaged or erroneously delivered orders. Work with vendors, suppliers, and other employees to resolve discrepancies and solve problems •Ensure that procedures are followed so that finished products are loaded accurately •Notify appropriate department and/or personnel regarding shortages and late deliveries providing internal/external customer service •Work effectively with union and/or non-union employees to promote positive and productive working relationships. Understand and effectively apply work rules, union contract provisions if applicable, and employment policies •Actively promote safe work behaviors and hold self and direct reports accountable for following safety rules and regulations. Conduct accident/injury investigations and send reports of injury to HR in a timely manner to meet reporting standards. May coordinate and/or facilitate plant safety meetings, training, and incentive programs •Document/update and ensure proper procedures are in place and being followed for production efficiency, quality of product, employee safety, and state and federal guidelines Qualifications: •Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems •Knowledge of principles and practices of supervision, training, and personnel management •Able to promote a team environment; able to select, coach, develop, engage, and retain a team of employees •Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills) •Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing •Able to communicate with various levels of personnel to ensure customers’ needs and requirements are met •Able to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize work activities •Able to adapt and manage to change effectively •Able to identify problems, take appropriate steps to find solutions, and implement recommended solutions •Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail Compensation: •$80,000 - $85,000 / year Interested candidates, please apply directly through the job posting on company's career page or try via AI auto apply on this platform.
