Hiring: Controls Technician - 2nd shift - Monday-Thursday - 4pm-230am Company: Fox Factory Location: Gainesville, GA Job Posted Time: 2026-09-03 10:23:11 Target Skills & Keywords : Embedded Systems, Linear About the job Experience: •6+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability developing and implementing automation processes and equipment required. •Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly •Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time •Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer •: This list does not represent all Required Skills: •Assists and advises on automation projects built by outside automation suppliers including conceptual design work, equipment specification, project management, factory acceptance testing, installation, and commissioning/debug. •Provide automation and process control support for operations at 24/7 production plants. •Identify potential process improvement projects, design and develop SCADA & PLC programs to address them properly. •Capable of performing work as an electrician (e.g. wiring, electrical component installation). •Works with the Engineering staff to develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods. •Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding automation and process control capabilities. •Assists with developing product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. •Works with the Maintenance Department to troubleshoot production issues.
